Swiss Design – Mouth-Blown
As one of the few distributors in the world, Les Terroirs du Vin has been selected to represent the new glasses from Grassl. Behind Grassl is wine enthusiast Alexander Macht, who has spent several years developing and designing these amazing glasses. The glasses are so light and have such a special shape, that there are only a handful of places in the world they can be produced. Alexander has chosen a small 170 year old specialist / factory in Slovakia, that still uses original wooden molds etc. and no less than five persons are involved in making one glass!
The glasses are extremely light and weigh between 90-130 grams. The thin glass (can still be washed in the dishwasher without any problems) helps to highlight the completely pure expression of the wines.
The glasses are already used for tastings at producers such as Jean-Marc Roulot, Etienne Sauzet, Henri Boillot, Alain Graillot, Stella di Campalto, Pierre-Henri Rougeot, Whitcraft and more.
